Profile

This research institute functions to coordinate and carry out research activities both funded by the university’s internal environment and from outside the university. The research developed includes technology and literature and psychology, which can help improve the standard of qualified lecturers and researchers of the faculty of letters and culture, Gunadarma University. The research institute also carries out research administration and publish journals to publish research results.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE RESEARCH AND COMMUNITY SERVICE INSTITUTION (LPPM) GUNADARMA UNIVERSITY

Gunadarma University Research and Community Service Institute is led by a Chairperson and assisted by a vice chairperson. The Chairperson mostly coordinates with external parties, while the vice chairperson coordinates the implementation of research activities with research / academic staff. The institution actively holds of seminars / conferences in the context of disseminating research results, both from the university and outside the university. There are two national seminars that are held regularly, namely the National Seminar on KOMMIT (Computer and Intelligence System) every two years, and the National Seminar on PESAT every two years. KOMMIT is a national seminar in the field of computers and engineering that supports the development of computer technology and computer applications in various fields. PESAT is a national seminar in social fields, such as economics, management, psychology, literature & language, architects, and others. KOMMIT is held every even year, starting in 2000, while PESAT is held every odd year, starting in 2005. To facilitate coordination at the university level, a research institute was formed for each existing faculty. There are six (6) faculties, thus forming six (6) Faculty Research Institute, namely

Research Institute of the Faculty of Computer Science.

Faculty of Economics Research Institute.

Research Institute of the Faculty of Industrial Technology.

Research Institute, Faculty of Psychology.

Research Institute, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning.

Research Institute, Faculty of Letters and Languages ​.

Each Faculty Research Institute is led by a chairman. The Chairperson coordinates the implementation of research by the research staff / faculty academics concerned, starting from motivating, disseminating information on grants or research assistance from within and outside the university environment, conducting research monitoring, conducting research administration, coordinating the selection of proposals for internal funding, collecting research proposals, collect research reports and publish scientific journals. For the smooth running of all these tasks, the head of the LPF is assisted by administrative staff and journal publishing.
