FIBAA Accreditation Ceritificate Awarding Ceremony and Workshop on International Programme Accreditation by FIBAA in UIN Sunan Kalijaga

On May 11 2023, the FIBAA Certificate Awarding Ceremony was held at UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Yogyakarta. This activity aims to improve the international accreditation of higher education institutions and study programs at Gunadarma University. In international accreditation, the institution from other countries carries out reviews and evaluations of the study program’s criteria and quality standards. The main focus of international accreditation is the standardization of graduates’ abilities through evaluating the achievement of study program outcomes as determined by accreditation institution, and  supported by professional associations, technical/scientific associations, industrial associations, and others.

Universitas Gunadarma delegates Dr. Ichwan Suyudi, Dr. Ahmad Juma Khatib Nur Ali, Dr. Agung Prasetyo, Dinda Rakhma and Ira Puspitawati to the mentioned workshop. International accreditation is considered important as a guarantee of higher education quality in the international public. By having international accreditation, universities in Indonesia can be better known and recognized by universities abroad. In addition, the international accreditation also provides added value for foreign students who wish to study in Indonesia.
