History

The history of the Faculty of Letters and Cultures, Gunadarma University began with the merger of STIE Gunadarma (Gunadarma Institute of Economic Sciences) and STMIK Gunadarma (Gunadarma Institute of Informatics Management and Computer Sciences) on April 3, 1996 into one educational institution, namely Gunadarma University which had 6 faculties, one of which was the Faculty of Letters. The faculty then changed its name to the Faculty of Letters and Cultures in 2016 along with the addition of new majors.

The Faculty of Letters and Cultures administers undergraduate programs (S1) with the Semester Credit System (SKS).

The postgraduate program (master program) in Literature with specialization in Translation was opened in 2001. The postgraduate program for master level of education is managed by the Postgraduate Program of Gunadarma University.
