This website is designed to provide educational and information services for the entire academic community of the Faculty of Letters and Cultures, Gunadarma University and society.
The new face of this website reflects a new spirit of the entire academic community who always tries to provide the best endeavors for stakeholders. We always make improvements of our website as part of the dynamics of campus life.
The Faculty of Letters in 2016 changed its name into the Faculty of Letters and Cultures with two new study programs. Currently, the Faculty of Letters and Cultures is fostering three undergraduate study programs, namely English Literature, Tourism, and Chinese Literature.
We always support study programs to improve their management quality and the quality of their graduates. One of the efforts to improve the quality is to earn the recognition and certification from national and international accreditation institutions. Currently the English Literature Study Program is in the process of getting an international accreditation. The intended accreditation institution is FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation) in Germany. Prior to this international accreditation process, the English Literature Study Program has just received A (very good) accreditation for 3 times from the National Board of Accreditation. Hopefully the other two study programs, the Tourism and Chinese Literature, will also immediately be able to improve their accreditation ranking.

Faculty of Letters and Culture is led by the Dean, assisted by Vice Dean 1 for Academic Affairs, Vice Dean 2 for Finance and Administration, and Vice Dean 3 for Student Affairs.
Each Programme Director is supported by the academic and administrative executing elements. Academic lines and levels of authority are reflected vertically in the organizational structure, both at the study programme level and at the faculty level. As for activities that are cross-study programmes, the organizational structure is more towards a matrix organization with coordination or the person in charge at the Faculty and even University level.
The language development center support the faculty by conducting various languages workshops, tests and courses for all programmes in Faculty of Letters and Cultures.
The matrix structure is usually in the form of a task force or task force for activities that require mobilization of resources and across study programmes, for example examination activities, undergraduate sessions, national seminars, or other large-scale activities.
