Universitas Gunadarma Hosts English Café in Collaboration with ISMP USA
On March 12, 2025, Universitas Gunadarma held the English Café, a collaborative program with mentors from ISMP USA. Taking place at the F4 campus, the event aims to promote cultural exchange and enhance global tourism knowledge. The program featured a Guest Lecture and Panel Discussion on “Cultural Exchange and Global Tourism Trends,” where ISMP students will present insights followed by an interactive Q&A session with participants.
The event also offered interactive workshops focused on language and cross-cultural communication, as well as travel journalism. Participants was expected to gain practical tips for effective communication with international travelers and learn how to craft compelling travel articles in English. Additionally, a mentorship and coaching segment provided guidance on developing cultural tourism projects, simulating tour guide roles, and preparing for careers in culture, literature, and tourism. The day concluded with a Cultural Exchange and Language Immersion session, featuring a Language Café for practicing English, Indonesian, and Mandarin, alongside cultural activities such as sharing traditional cuisine, dance, and folklore.
